With the 2024 Queensland State General Election just around the corner, the APGRA is delighted to host a pre-election panel in Brisbane on Thursday, 3 October from 6pm at The Brisbane Club.

Join us for an insightful discussion featuring some of Queensland’s leading political experts, including Griffith University Associate Professor Paul Williams, experienced journalist David Fagan and Graham Young the Executive Director of the Australian Institute for Progress. Delve into the key concerns of voters, the future of the major parties, the rise of the independents and explore how the election outcome will shape government relations in Queensland.

Additionally, APGRA will be live streaming the Channel 9 leaders’ debate between Opposition Leader David Crisafulli and Premier Steven Miles on the big screen immediately following the panel.
