Event

A successful event for government relations practitioners has taken place in Canberra. The event, which was held at the National Press Club in late May, attracted around 30 local and interstate government relations practitioners and was run in collaboration with the Canberra “Pub Affairs” networking group, which has been established by Sally Mackenzie, who works in public affairs with the Customer Owned Banking Association.

The event was an excellent opportunity to promote the work the Australian Professional Government Relations Association (APGRA) is doing on behalf of members, as well as the benefits of being a member of the APGRA.

Such was the success of the event, the APGRA is aiming to hold similar events in Canberra on a quarterly basis, with the next one tentatively scheduled for September.

As soon as a date for the next Canberra event is finalised, the APGRA will advise members.
